Group Train tours:

Join us for a unique 1/2 hour train ride on the World's Largest Orchard Train, Watt's Orchard Express. Our 90 ft train, easily accommodates over 50 adults winding its way through our 100 acres surrounding a 3 acre pond, home to our ducks and geese. Our conductor narrates a history of our farm and information about our farming operation. Orchard Train Tours are available May through October. Call for pricing on group train rides with a $250 minimum per group.   The tour operator and bus driver are complementary. ​


Fall school Tours:

Objective: Watt Farms excels at school field trips.  Our tour guides will provide an enjoyable and educational tour, especially designed for children K-3rd grade. Children will be given age-appropriate lessons on pollination, hands on cider making, apple picking and apple handling. We can accommodate groups rain or shine.
Program: The Children will:
​*Enjoy a ride through our 100 acre orchard on our 90 foot train!
This narrated journey will teach them how we prepare the fruit we harvest.
*Pick fresh crisp apples 
*Learn about the importance of bees in growing fruit.
*Visit and feed our farm animals. Play in our straw maze.
*Have the opportunity to picnic after your tour.
*Press cider from apples and have a drink of our own pasteurized cider.
Time: Tours are offered Monday - Friday, late September - October, starting at 10:00 am and last about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Take Home : Each participant takes home a bag of apples they have picked in addition to knowledge about how apples grow and how work of honeybees in an orchard. There will be many great memories from a day with us.
Price: $9.00 for 2018-for each person (student and parent). There is no charge for teachers or PAID school staff (2 per class). There is a minimum charge of $250.
Please pay for your group tour upon arrival. While we welcome additional adults, each adult is also required to pay the $9 fee.
Weather: Weather always varies, so it's best to have the children dress in layers. There are no weather related refunds.

Cancellations: If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled tour, we would appreciate your cooperation in giving us as much notice as possible, but at least 2 weeks notice, so that we may fill your appointment time. Call 585-589-8000 or 1-800-274-5897 and ask for Karen.

Group shopping Tours

Bring your group to Watt Farms Country Market where you can enjoy a scenic train ride, and a tour of the farm market.
  • We  also welcome groups to our farm market where you can purchase ice cream treats and drinks in our Ice Cream Shoppe.
  • Visit our gift shop and enjoy a sample of fudge and our fruits in season.
  • We can easily accommodate buses and you can walk over to our animal barn to feed our many animals.
